Privacy Policy

What we collect

To create an account, we require only a username and password. No email, no phone number, no personal information of any kind.

File scanning

Files uploaded for scanning are processed in memory and never written to permanent storage. No submitted sample is ever stored, shared, distributed, or made available to any third party. Scan metadata (file name, hashes, size, detection results) is retained to display your scan history.

What we do not do

• We do not sell, share, or disclose user data to any third party
• We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics scripts
• We do not collect IP addresses in user-visible profiles
• We do not require or collect payment information
• We do not distribute submitted files to antivirus vendors or anyone else

Logging

Standard web server access logs (IP, user agent, request path) are retained for security and abuse prevention purposes. These logs are rotated and deleted automatically after 14 days.

Account security

Passwords are hashed and never stored in plaintext. Account recovery is handled via a 12-word recovery phrase generated at registration. We have no ability to recover your account if you lose both your password and recovery phrase.
